Statement of Faith
Fixing It For Christ is a Christian ministry that affirms the Nicene Creed and is a mission of Waxhaw United Methodist Church. In response to Jesus Christ’s command to “love our neighbor”1, we show love by serving our neighbor-in-need through home repairs. We do not require our neighbors who receive our services to profess the Christian faith. Also, in response to that same command, we love other neighbors by welcoming them as participants from other churches, organizations, and the community to join with us. We ask that all participants (whether Christian or not) to speak and act in ways that respect the faith of this mission. We trust participants to love and serve our neighbors together in unity of love for fellowman and to focus on our similar ministry values instead of denominational/faith differences. 1Mark 12:28-31 NKJV
